This past weekend, I played makeup artist and photographer at my girl Jennelle’s wedding. I’m still sifting through all the photos, but I wanted to share a few of the gorgeous Jennelle herself. She is a true natural beauty (my mom always says she looks like a modern day Venus) so my job as “makeup artist” was easy. I mean, come on, look at that face:
For those who are curious, we used her tinted moisturizer and a pressed powder along her T-zone to set everything, and then I applied a thick coat of black mascara, a raspberry lip stain to her lips and cheeks, and my favorite luminizer on her cheekbones, eyelids, and a tiny bit down the center of her nose. That’s it!
Then it was party time. I ate all of those oysters. Just kidding. But really, I had more than is socially acceptable. I had to be sneaky about it.
Meanwhile, Jennelle looked radiant chatting to her guests. I followed her around and sneakily took lots of photos. That’s when I realized…
Wedding photographers must feel like creepers the majority of the time.
Or you just get used to it? Either way, I took a break and and snapped some flower pics for awhile. : )
Congratulations, Jennelle and Ruben! Xo
