I threw this smoothie together one day last week and was pleasantly surprised; it’s slightly spicy from the fresh ginger, creamy and sweet from the frozen bananas, and filling from the almond butter. I ended up making it every day so I figured I would share the recipe!
Delicious Spiced Smoothie
1 frozen banana
1 inch piece ginger
Generous dash of turmeric
Generous dash of cinnamon
Smaller dash of cardamom
1 heaping teaspoon almond butter
Favorite milk — I usually use almond or cashew (amount varies depending on your smoothie consistency preference!)
Dump ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth!
